Junior Fire Patrol Saves the Day 1946

1946-At about 3:30 p.m the captain of the Junior Fire Patrol, Virgil JumpĀ  noticed a small fire adjoining the LaFrance residence. So he together with the Dupius girls proceeded to put the fire out with back pumps secured from the fire department, proving that in addition to the male volunteers and the woman’s auxiliary, the teenagers too are “eager beavers” when called upon to fight fires.
